The remains of late Osun state senator, Isiaka Adeleke was finally buried earlier today amid hot tears from families, friends and sympathizers.
The late politician, after being blessed through Islamic prayers by array of clerics was buried before 12:noon.

According to those present, Sympathizers cried their ”eyes out”, especially Ede indigenes who were his beneficiaries and other well wishers, as tension continued to rise in his home town, Ede, over the circumstances surrounding his death.
Adeleke, who was vying for the Governor\’s spot of Osun state come 2018 died in the early hours of Sunday and cause of his death is still yet to be ascertained as some alleged that he ate poison while family members revealed he died of heart attack.

According to reports, the canopy where APC leaders such as, Ibikunle Amosun, Rotimi Akeredolu and Olagunsoye Oyinlola where sitting during the burial of former governor of Osun State, Senator Adeleke was allegedly brought down by some angry mob who chased out Idiat Babalola who is a running mate for another candidate under APC.

Recall that late, Adeleke is also vying for the governorship ticket under APC come 2018.
Trouble started when the mob spotted Idiat alongside dignitaries who have came for Adeleke\’s burial, they demanded she should be sent out despite pleas from the Adeleke\’s, it fell on deaf ears as they continue raining curses on her.

The youths started shaking the canopy where Governors Ibikunle Amosun, Rotimi Akeredolu, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola and Deji Adeleke were seated to chase out Babalola who they called her a betrayer.
Idiat was however escorted outside the house by Ogun state governor, Ibikunle Amosun and his security aides as the youths threw sticks and mango fruits at her.

To celebrate his second year in office as a senator, late Senator Isiaka Adeleke had purchased grinding machines, motorcycles, refrigerators and other empowerment stuffs to be shared to members of his senatorial district in June this year.

He died on Sunday morning at a private hospital in Osogbo. He had since been buried in his country home, Ede Osun state according to Islamic rites.

IPOB Leader: Nnamdi Kanu Denies Rejecting Bail As He Vows To Meet Conditions Within 48 Hours

Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), refutes reports which state that he rejected the bail granted him on Tuesday by the Abuja High Court.

Kanu was granted bail on health grounds with 12 stringent conditions attached to the bail by the presiding judge, Binta Nyako.

However, the three other accused persons David Nwawuisi, Benjamin Madubugwu and Chidiebere Onwudiwe, were denied bail by the court on treason allegations among other charges.

There were rumors that the detained IPOB leader rejected the bail because his co accused person were not granted bail.

In an exclusive interview with Premium Times, Kanu’s lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, said the report that his client rejected the bail was all rumours.

“It’s all rumours. Were you not in court?” Mr. Ejiofor asked Premium Times. “How could he have rejected the bail, when he didn’t do that in open court? It’s rumours. Know that now!”

Regarding the bail, Mr. Ejiofor said Mr. Kanu will meet the conditions within 48 hours but warned that any attempt by government to afterward deny his client bail would be vehemently resisted.

 “Any attempt by government to flout this court order must be resisted. In fact, it will bring to an end this trial. Because we will opt out. We will not allow him to continue with the trial.

“And the court has made it quite clear that its orders must be obeyed. You saw what happened today how the court made an order for Nnamdi Kanu’s wedding ring to be given to him along with his eyeglasses; which was complied with.

“So that time (of rejecting bail conditions) has passed, we believe”, Mr. Ejiofor said.

An order for Mr. Kanu to be given his wedding ring and his eye glasses was immediately complied with by the authorities on Tuesday.

Our radar in Ghana is reporting on a 31-year-old Police officer, Constable Peace Agbemafo who committed suicide after a man who promised her marriage dumped her. mynewsgh.com reports.

“This is about the second time she has been jilted by someone. Somebody promised to marry her but later disappointed her and she killed herself. We have informed the family and we are waiting for them to come so we conduct the post mortem and convey the body to the police hospital mortuary in Accra for preservation”, a source disclosed to mynewsgh reporter when he inquired if Peace had some relationship problems

According to him, this is the fourth year since the deceased Cop was posted to the area indicating that her colleagues are grief-stricken over her death.

Peace Agbemefo who was supposed to have been on duty at the GN Bank in Garu on Monday morning but was rather booked at the police station around 6:30am killed herself using an AK47 Assault rifle

Manager of GN Bank, Haruna Abdul Fataw, said he was compelled to call the district commander to request for a police officer after Peace failed to turn up.

A young girl who was a beneficiary of the police officer, later found Peace Agbemefo in a pool of blood in her room, a few metres from the Garu Tempane Police Station.

She apparently shot herself in the throat.

Also, a knife was found on the floor of the room with a noose hanging from the ceiling.

Unbelievable: Man Was Found At A Bar Drinking On The Day Of His Burial

Residents of a village in Awendo, Migori, Kenya, were shocked on Saturday, March 25, when a man believed to have died and whose burial plans were already underway, was found in a bar in Rongo.

Wilson Oluoch, a commercial motorcyclist in Migori county, went missing from his home for days, prompting his family to believe he was dead when a decomposing body was found in a sugarcane plantation in Awendo.

The family took the body and kept it in a morgue in Migori and embarked on burial preparations.nhhhhhgj

They dug the grave, prepared meals according to the Luo culture and everything was ready when a message was

delivered, saying that someone who looked like their son had been seen in Rongo.

The family visited the area and to their shock, Oluoch was in a bar, drowning in bottles of beer.

According to him, he was ashamed when he returned home drunk and caused havoc, so he left to try another life elsewhere.

 His parents who spoke to the media expressed their joy on realizing their son was still alive.

Back home, mourning turned into feasting as villagers flocked their home to celebrate Oluoch, they ate and danced.

It was learnt that plans are underway to refill the grave and return the unidentified body to the morgue.

Meanwhile, the family has contacted the Luo council of elders to carry out cleansing rituals before Oluoch is allowed into the compound.

Another Peace Mass Transit Bus Involved In Fatal Accident On Enugu Road

A transport company based in the South-eastern part of Nigeria has been been involved in a road accident that scared the occupants of the vehicles.

According to a Facebook user, IfeanyIcy Njoku, a Peace Mass Transit Bus was involved in a fatal accident along Okigwe – Enugu Expressway yesterday.
An eyewitness said no life was lost and praised God for the miraculous survival.
“My God is always with me, the devil is a liar, this accident just happened before me if not God I would have been a victim. May his name be praise in Jesus name Amen.” an eye witness said as he celebrated.
“I was the next car before the accident it was something else, there is God no life was lost and no single scratch on any individual” another person said.
